Shania Povlock is absolutely elated to be performing with the Laporte County Symphony Orchestra again this year at Hoosier Star! In 2013, Shania won the rising star award and was runner up as a youth contestant. Then again in 2016, as a duet with her friend, Geovanny Tapia. Shania has been in many plays at the Laporte Little Theater, such as, Little Shop of Horrors, 90 years in 90 minutes, Scrooge and Marley, and much more. She also performed the role of Dorothy in the 2019 performance of The Wizard of Oz at the Laporte Performing Arts Center. Shania would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support through her whole singing career. She would also like to thank God for giving her this gift of singing. Finally, Shania would like to thank her son, Bryson, for inspiring her to sing again. Shania would like to extend her sincere gratitude to all her sponsors and everyone that came to support her tonight.
