Lee Meyer

Lee C. Meyer holds B.M. and M.M. degrees from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois. While attending the conservatory, he majored in applied piano, studied voice, and was the studio accompanist for one of the leading voice teachers at the conservatory for three and a half years, thus giving him the necessary knowledge to work with all types of voices and various musical genres.

He is an award-winning musical/vocal director and keyboardist at The Footlight Player’s theater in Michigan City. He recently completed work on the Lerner and Lowe musical, “Brigadoon” that was directed by his wife, Laura, and will once again work with her on their next season’s production of “The Drowsy Chaperone.”

He has been musical/vocal director at the Dunes Arts Foundation’s Summer Theater, The La Porte Little Theater, Fourth Street Theater in Chesterton, and Valparaiso Community Theater.

For the past 27 years, he has been the pianist and conductor of The Michigan City Community Chorus and has held the position of program chairman of Michigan City’s Monday Musicale for many years.
