Lauren Eggleston is a junior at St. Joseph High School in South Bend, Indiana. In addition to being a strong student with a 4.1GPA, she loves singing and her favorite genre of music is Jazz. She is a soprano vocal student learning under the instruction of Donna M. Mitchell at the School of American Music in Three Oaks, Michigan. Lauren has participated and medaled in Indiana State School Music Association competitions the past three years, including at the state level. Growing her love of acting and singing, she has performed in her high school theater productions. This experience has also led to an interest in costuming and set design. Most recently, she was Ernestina in the production of Hello, Dolly. Lauren has been invited to participate in the Pueri Cantores Choir for several years. And she was recently chosen as the Pueri Cantores Cantor for the South Bend-Fort Wayne Diocese. She has been invited to sing with Harbor Arts Music in the Park Program, and the Youthful Spirit Concert. In addition to her love of music, Lauren has a strong presence in her community; she has been a dedicated member of 4-H for nine years; a cantor at church and liturgical choir at school; member of student council and quiz bowl; and she was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. In addition to listening to music, Lauren’s hobbies include playing video games and reading.
