Laurel is 23 and is absolutely thrilled to be competing in Hoosier Star again! She competed in the youth division in 2016 and the adult division in 2018. She has been singing since before she can remember and did her first musical at the age of 9 and hasn’t stopped since! In her free time, she loves performing in musicals, dancing, playing ukulele, performing as Elsa for parties, singing at church, and spending time with her dog. Some of her favorite shows she’s been in are RENT (Mark’s mom & others), Matilda (Mrs. Wormwood), Fun Home (Joan), and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon). She would like to thank her sponsors, all her past and present music teachers and mentors with a very special shout out to Aaron and Mark Albin, her boyfriend for his constant love and support. This performance is dedicated to her wonderful mother who unexpectedly passed away in June.
