JoFran Bendix is in her 50th season as Principal horn for the LCSO. JoFran has also served as orchestra liaison to the Board for more than half of those years. JoFran received her BS degree from Northern Illinois University and her MS degree in Art Education from BallState University. JoFran is a retired art teacher from the Michigan City Area Schools. JoFran was a former member of the Indiana Horn Ensemble, Windiana, the Michigan City Municipal Band, the LaPorte Municipal Band , the Michigan City Messiah ensemble and the former Michigan City Symphony.
