LCSO A La Carte Fundraising Parties are a wonderful way to support YOUR La Porte County Symphony Orchestra while enjoying fabulous entertainment, experiencing great cuisine, and exploring some of the most beautiful properties and unique entities in and around La Porte County. The annual A La Carte Preview Party in May each year is by invitation only, but by attending a party this year, you will receive a special invitation to attend next year's preview! Many of the popular parties sell out at the Preview Party.

Music of the 1960s
This is the sixth year the Morrises have sponsored an A La Carte event, each offering a unique dining and musical experience. This year it will be a celebration of the music of the 1960s. It was a time of unprecedented creative innovation. This decade saw rebellious youth music evolve into diverse genres that still influence artists today.
Enjoy a delicious dinner, after which Emily Yiannias and Tim King, along with pianist, Jeff Otto, will present some of the greatest songs from that decade. You’ll hear “Moon River”, “Both Sides Now”, “Good Night, My Someone” to name a few. How about a duet of Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe” to conclude the concert? The evening ends with a return to the church’s Gathering Place for dessert, coffee and conversation.
For an additional $30, enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the home of Barb Dent and David Hahnenstein in Greenacres adjacent to the church prior to the dinner.
