The LCSO staff is excited to welcome 2026 with musical ambitions and new resolutions! Read about what each staff member is looking forward to in 2026.
Emily Yiannias
Executive Director, Emily Lyday Yiannias, states “My New Year’s ambition is to see more live performances – I was inspired by my trip to NYC and seeing a couple of shows while I was there. So often I’m producing concerts or singing in them, and I forget what a joy it is to be an audience member!”
MacKenzi Lowry
Artistic and Office Operations Manager, MacKenzi Lowry, states “I want to create more musical opportunities for my collegiate students, create new memories/experiences with my friends and family, prioritize self-care and relaxation, collaborate with more musicians, and try to make a positive impact on my community!”
Jared Coller
Education and Community Outreach Manager, Jared Coller, states “This year, I would like to explore more musical interests and solo projects. I hope to do more recordings to promote new compositions by myself and other composers. I also plan to work on larger scale compositions and get a couple of works commissioned. Outside of music, I want to take more time to be with family and friends, explore new cooking recipes, and spend more time in nature.”
Carolyn Watson
Music Director, Carolyn Watson, states “My musical resolution is to keep making great music!”
