Lee Bauman took the role as Executive Director in December 2008. Previously, she worked as the Personnel/Operations Manager for the LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra since 2004. Lee’s background in non-profit business management, marketing, and graphic art skills combine with her enthusiasm for promoting great live performances.  She eagerly conveys the message of coming events to enlighten people in La Porte County and the surrounding vicinity about the quality and uniqueness of the symphonic concerts that are produced by this orchestra.

Kellene Urbaniak is an active freelance graphic artist and is our in-house source for creative visuals.  In the few years that she has worked for the orchestra, the design look of the orchestra’s publications has greatly increased in quality.  Kellene’s expressive style is especially evident in the multi-layers of photographic graphics the individual concert posters.

Charles Steck has been the Assistant Director of Bands at LaPorte High School since 1994.  Prior to that he was Director of Music for Lacrosse Elementary and High School.  At LPHS, he directs the Symphonic Band and Concert Band, as well as the Jazz Lab Bands and the Pep Band.
